If you’ve found this page, then congratulations, you’ve found the ADAPT Quick Start Rules before their official release date! These are the same files (pending update) which will be released free when the ADAPT system goes live on DriveThruRPG.
This is a very condensed version of the rules, just enough to give you a feel for the game’s potential. It’s aimed at old school gamers who like systems such as Rolemaster, Chaosium and Runequest. If you feel modern RPGs have become a little sanitized in order to maximise market appeal, then give the ADAPT system a go.
The website isn’t done yet, but please feel free to download the ADAPT Quick Start rules below. If you want to send some feedback, please send it via the contact form on the site. There are four files in total; The Rules; a Sample Adventure; Sample Characters and a GM Reference Sheet.
Official launch of the game is tentatively set at mid 2025.
